Our Wire Guides are typically
used for Dot Impact Printers. They support high-speed printing,
repetition performance and long-term reliability. The Dot
Impact Printer is also referred to as a “Dot Matrix Printer”.
The Pin which is built-in with a Printing Head impacts to
the paper and copies the characters onto the paper.
Our Wire Guide is built-in with the Printer Head. The guide
is made of Zirconia Ceramic so that it can resist the fast
printing movement of the Hard Alloy Pin.
Because it was to replace the common Ink Jet and Laser Printers,
the Dot matrix Printer has not been utilized very frequently.
However, the Dot Matrix Printer is still used for Carbon Copy
Applications today.
