TN LCDs are utilized in various products such as Air Conditioners, Fan Heaters, Refrigerators, Rice Cookers, Hot Pots and various types of other general Home Electronic Appliances, Medical Devices, In-Car Audios and Watch Indicators that require the use of Remote Controls. |

Compared with a TN-LCD, the twist angle is increased from 90 to 180 or 270 Degrees of the angle in an STN-LCD. By increasing the angle, a high contrast and a wide viewing angle are acquired, which enable the production of various LCD Screen Sizes. |
